Job Role:
ELG FZE on behalf of FrontierMEDEX is currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Seismic Survey Mountaineers.
Mountaineers are used to support our client's seismic operations by providing mountain safety, operational and supervisory support to their local crews. We are looking for experience in remote mountains and of loose rock, snow and ice with a high level of physical fitness and instructional experience.
Applications are invited from experience mountaineers who are immediately available and may come from varying backgrounds, including mountain rescue, industrial rope access, outdoor pursuits instructing, international Association of Mountain Guides, military mountain training and Antarctic survey work.
Experience/Qualifications:
Seismic survey experience is essential
A proven track record as Mountaineer as a guide/instructor or roped access
Qualified as MIA or MIC, IRATA is preferable
Experience of working with multinational crews
Fluent English skills
First Aid Training certificate
