Investment Trust Management Manager - Strategic Dimensions Limited - Nairobi - Nationwide

Our client, an investment arm of a Church which also holds in trust its movable and immovable property seeks to recruit an Investment and Trust Management Services Manager.
The position is responsible for providing support on management of the investment portfolio and oversight over management of real estate properties; accountability for achievement of profit goals for the company from all the properties; and oversight over all properties held in Trust for the Church by the company.
Reporting: The position will report to the Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the development, implementation, and periodic review of the strategic plan, business development plan, and annual operating plans.
2. Coordinate the development and periodic review of the investment plan, and the property development strategy and plan.
3. Monitor, analyze and advise on the performance of the client’s investment portfolio.
4. Keep up to date with market developments and provide current information on business trends and their possible impact on investment decisions.
5. Support management of the investment portfolio.
6. Coordinate all aspects of property development and management activities including but not limited to working with professionals to address technical matters on property development, general upkeep and maintenance of the properties, ensuring optimal occupation, contract management and overseeing administrative matters relating to occupation and tenancy.
7. Management of legal and technical issues on properties held in trust for the church.
8. Maintain an up to-date fixed assets register for the company.
9. Ensure effective risk management by the company on aspects relating to investments and properties.

The person required must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to investment and/or property management.
• Good company law background and knowledge of land and property laws.
• Good Computer skills.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Strong management, organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to relate sensitively to a wide range of individuals and organizations.
In addition the individual must be:
• Flexible and resilient, with ability to work under pressure
• Self-motivated and able to motivate other staff
• A person with high level of integrity and confidentiality

Relevant Job Experience
• At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position
