Qualification & Competencies:-
The incumbent should possess:-
1. Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accounting.
2. MUST be a CPA (K) holder.
3. At least 3 - 4 years work experience.
4. Should be conversant with Quick books/Sage/ Pastel Accounting packages.
Responsibilities / Duties:-
1. Prepare and process suppliers’ invoices, manual cheques and contract payments
2. Ensure purchase orders, receiving and invoices are matched
3. Maintenance of import files
4. Preparation of suppliers’ statements and management accounts
5. Costing of the end-product in relation to the current market demand
6. End month stock take
7. Posting of journal entries and filing of accounts documents
8. Ensuring compliance of standard procedures
