Chief Accountant Ref: CA35 Date: 09.09.2014
Job Description:- Will prepare and review the financial statements and budgets.
Key responsibilities:-
1. Controlling the payroll
2. Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods.
3. Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management.
4. Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue.
5. Account analysis and reconciliation, to include bank statements, inter-company general ledger accounts and balance sheet accounts.
6. Reconciling bank statements.
7. Work directly with the Department Heads, General Managers and Operations Management.
8. Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT and PAYE.
9. Chasing late payments, reporting bad debts and keeping a careful eye on the cash flow.
Qualifications:-
1. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Business Management/ Commerce - Accounting option.
2. CPA K holder
3. 7-10 Yrs working experience
4. Salary range 80,000-100,000 but negotiable
5. Managerial skills (Ability to manage todays accountings)
6. Should be 30 years and above.
7. Conversant with siege pastel software
