Position: Presales Consultant
Location: Nairobi
Role: Collaborate with Sales Team and provide necessary support in activities viz., product demos , presentations and customer technical discussions
Responsibilities:
Build and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to prospects
Become a trusted advisor to the client and maintain relationships with key client contacts
Assist with developing Statement of Work (SOWs) and ROI deliverables for prospective customers
Build detailed requirements documents for proof-of-concepts (POCs), pilots and as input into SOW
Perform on-site and/or remote discoveries of client's applications utilizing methods, IDE and tools
Implement on-site POCs, pilots and competitive bake-offs to demonstrate capabilities within clients target environment
Create and deliver POC executive presentations and account summary documentation
Generate and update account status reports as required
Perform competitive research and analysis.
MS-PowerPoint for video presentations and demos
Manage issues, priorities, escalation of issues, and resolution on behalf of assigned customers and partners
Domain expertise across several verticals and functional roles within industries served
Contribute new product ideas and feature requests
Product re-usable marketing collateral (case studies, videos, demos, competitive differentiators, etc.) from client engagement artifacts and deliverables
Create and maintain pre-sales collateral, templates, RPF responses, demos and in general contribute to continuous improvement within the pre-sales function
Provide pre-sales enablement and support for partners and new internal/junior pre-sales resources
Qualifications / Skills required:
Graduate in Information Technology / MBA
3+ years of Presales experience
Excellent communication skills
Good interpersonal and organizing skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft and/or Oracle products along with exposure in any of the business verticals viz., Banking, Telecom, or manufacturing / Healthcare.
Nice to have skills
Good understanding of East Africa IT Business scenario
