Job Title: QUALITY CONTROLLER - PRINTING
Position Function:
This position is responsible for controlling and maintaining the quality control system and the quality assurance system before and after or during production to achieve the company’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions.
2. Responsible for the approval of jobs in printing and finishing section
3. Perform root cause analysis on finished product and raw materials failure
4. Responsible for the supervision of quality issues along production line
5. Responsible for supervision of quality from raw material until the finished goods.
6. Responsible for the decision making regarding the acceptance /rejection of non conforming products or raw materials.
7. Responsible for the decision of releasing and disposing the non conforming products
Professional Qualifications:
• Minimum of Diploma in printing or any other relevant field.
Experience:
1. At least 2 years of working in printing industry as a quality controller.
2. Proven record of previous employers
Competencies
1. Attention to detail: must possess a demonstrated ability to work systematically and diligently.
2. Good communication skills: demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
3. Teamwork skills: ability to work independently while at the same time be an active team player.
Personal Attributes
1. Personal ethics: must be honest and have a high level of integrity and tact.
2. Result oriented; enjoy being measured and judged by performance results.
3. Mature temperament: demonstrated ability to work diplomatically, harmoniously and effectively with a diverse group of people.
